Responding to Life-Threatening Emergencies
3 hours — 1 day
At home, in the street, at work, at school, anyone may be presented with a life-threatening emergency. This exciting workshop is for people who want to know what they can do when one arises. We use personal experiences of people attending the workshop as a starting point to lead into discussion and hands-on learning about how to respond to life-threatening emergencies.
Using an innovative interactive training approach, all workshop participants practice assessing for and responding to emergency conditions that interfere with breathing and circulation. Participants gain a practial approach and skillset that they can use in the event of a life-threatening emergency. This workshop does not cover CPR, and is appropriate for anyone.
